Do you know if this flash will be fully compatible, as I want to be able to change the settings mainly in manual mode from the YN622C-TX? But I still want the E-TTL function just in case. Best regards, YONGNUO Reply Author Flash Havoc 6 months ago Hi Yuppa, It can take a while before the rest of YongNuo have any idea about some of the updates or products the engineer mentions
To be honest the scale is not something I personally take much notice of anyway, as modifiers, snoots, gels etc all take a toll on the stated distance, on camera its usually bounced. I think back to the Sigma DG super which was the common budget flash alternative just a few years ago, and the 568EX is worlds apart without any of the major quirks and considerably cheaper still
Canon 580ex II vs Yongnuo YN-560 II - DSLR NERD
Damian Dodd said 2 years ago (Reply) Just make sure you get the version for your camera maker, and it looks like they sell only Canon and Nikon versions on Amazon. i will be using it as a strobe but may i know if it still works if i mount it on my hotshoe of my D5000 camera? Thanks(: Reply fransener says: September 12, 2010 at 1:49 am Hi azhar Yes it will work fine and trigger with the camera and fire with the output level you have set on the flash itself. Yongnuo YN-460-II Works With X Sync Radio Triggers Triggering in general is the same as for the original YN-460: you can trigger the flash via any standard radio trigger that features a hot shoe

New Slave Sensor Cover Design When you look at the front side of the flash you can see that the body design looks like the digital-TTL flash YN-565 EX, and not like the precursor YN560 anymore. A special limitation on the YN-560 II is that you have to understand the relationship between the multi mode settings and the shutter speed used on the camera body
Based on my experience with the YN560 II, I have ordered a further YN560 II with a cheap wrap-around snoot (available for a few pounds online) to use as a hairlight behind the subject.
