So if you want to use the YN560-TX for any remote power control with the YN-560 III, you would need to trigger the flash via RF-603, RF-603 II, or the YN560-TX itself, and use the built in radio receiver in the flash. Any better ways to combine on-camera TTL with 560III or similar flashes? Reply Author Flash Havoc 10 months ago Hi Yan, YongNuo do appear to be going deeper into this system, so its very possible they could make a TTL flash with a YN560 transmitter on board at some stage

Very poor, my 600EX-RTs might be 10 times more expensive but they have already lasted 25 times longer! Love the 560TX trigger too, what a shame the flashes are not reliable. Reply keith law 8 months ago I can not get the YN 560-TX to remote shutter release when I am using a RF 603C II on my Canon 60D It will trigger a flash with the 603 connected to the flash

Damian Dodd said 2 years ago (Reply) Just make sure you get the version for your camera maker, and it looks like they sell only Canon and Nikon versions on Amazon. In short this flash has no TTL capability (Through the lens). If you can handle that, if you're prepared to spend some time familiarising yourself with the unit, you're going to be one happy bunny

i will be using it as a strobe but may i know if it still works if i mount it on my hotshoe of my D5000 camera? Thanks(: Reply fransener says: September 12, 2010 at 1:49 am Hi azhar Yes it will work fine and trigger with the camera and fire with the output level you have set on the flash itself. Yongnuo YN-460-II Works With X Sync Radio Triggers Triggering in general is the same as for the original YN-460: you can trigger the flash via any standard radio trigger that features a hot shoe

Based on my experience with the YN560 II, I have ordered a further YN560 II with a cheap wrap-around snoot (available for a few pounds online) to use as a hairlight behind the subject. The YN speedlite that mose comprehensive and best buy for nikon D3000 please (: Reply fransener says: November 15, 2010 at 1:46 am You get the most features with the YN-467 in the Nikon version, your other option is the YN-465. The good thing with disabling standby is that the speedlight remembers that setting even when you change batteries! Off-Camera Flash Score To be effectively usable for off camera flash in strobist style a speedlight needs to have a certain set of features
