I was waiting for my husband at the reswtrooms right down the hall and husband was at gate and I think if they would have done passenger call for me I could have made it to the gate to catch my flight but again I think American had another plan so we had to wait over 3 hours at Ohare to get our flight to Las Vegas. The desk agent informed me that they were closing the ticket desk and I had to leave now, that they couldn't help me and I needed to just find a hotel and wait
