Lots to check but listening for the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on is key - the relay is under the driver side dash so you should hear a click down there then the pump for about a second. The car ran fine for a few days then has had the same symptoms off-and-on so I just added some Techron fuel system cleaner to see if that helps - sometimes gunk can build up in the lines
