In real life the sages must have been named after the towns, but it fits into the overall story nicely, which is a small departure for the Zelda series. In the castle courtyard where you meet Zelda for the first time, have a gander through the windows and you should spot a few paintings that you might recognize

From the awning you will see a giant hole in the side of Impa's house, enter the hole, and when you appear inside of her house you will see Link trapped in a cage with a cow. Climb on top of the fence and walk on the top of the fence to the blue vine-covered roof, climb up on the roof and the talk to the man sitting on the roof and he will give you a Piece of Heart for your troubles (Note this is the hardiest method of getting this Piece of Heart, but makes it feel the most rewarding)

How To Defeat Ganondorf And Ganon Defeating Ganondorf Once Ganondorf starts attacking you with his magic hit it back at him with the Master Sword, after you hit him with his own magic shoot him with a Light Arrow, then either use the Longshot on his cape or use the Hover Boots to get over to him, and attack him with the Master Sword (if you use the Longshot to get to him you can Longshot the stained glass windows to get away from him). Baker First equip a bottle to one of the C Buttons then go someplace where there are bugs, a fish, or a fairy, then Press the C Button for the bottle to catch the item, but right after you Press it (before you catch anything) hit Start and equip an item that is not a bottle to the same C Button the bottle you are using is on, and Press Start again if Link catches the item it will replace whatever you just equipped then you will have another bottle in your inventory!!! The bad thing of course is that you won't have whatever item you replaced, so it's not extremely useful

In the next room, defeat the four Wolfos enemies as you wander around (if you need an extra Key, return with the Silver Gauntlets and move the large pillar in the wall to reach another room). Complete this task and talk to the Zora again to receive the Silver Scale, which allows you to dive farther down than before! Get back down to the watery area again

This will initiate a lengthy conversation in which he laughs at you, opens the gate, tells you to get the shield and comments that his kid desperately wants a mask from the Happy Mask Shop in Hyrule Town. Just be prepared to jump to the side with the lava to avoid his roll immediately after, then circle around to the other side or wait in one of the corners to face him once again

Then continue on to the castle (for God's sake, whatever you do...DON'T buy the Hylian Shield! It's a huge rip-off, and you can get it later for free.) Making your way to Hyrule Castle you will find a guard , talk to him. Now if you accidentaly fall or get a game over you can easily reach the 2nd level, but I'm sure that won't happen, now will it? Ok, see those gaps in the bridge? You have to throw bombs down them so they land in the eye's of the giant statue of a Dodongo...ok

So, Link becomes a big kid again and goes into the Shadow Temple, which is essentially a big torture house that you would expect to wake up in if you were a victim in the movie Saw

While it has only made one truly significant appearance in the series, it has become a very well known theme largely identified with the series and appears as background music in forested areas in many later installments in the series.
