Discuss aftercare, infection and changing your piercing Matt sat down with me after the piercing to talk aftercare; he was very thorough and knowledgeable in his guidance. Otherwise, it may become infected! If you do notice some excessive irritation or redness around your nose ring, don't immediately assume you have an infection

I have to disagree with Ghadeer, do NOT clean your piercing with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, neosporin or anything like that!!! The piercing place should give you directions on how to clean it, the best way to clean it is by soaking it in sea salt water everyday. i THINK i kept getting them because when i first got the piercing, it never properly healed because i was constantly taking it out and putting it back in for work

Take cold showers only pull your foreskin back since the fungus can only survived in warm conditions.A pill or 2 of Diflucan will expose your yeast, They will pop out and burst. Then use Clortimazole cream to kill whatever yeast you have left. When you have a yeast infection- DO NOT ITCH!! I know how great it feels for those 10 seconds but it burns like heck afterwards and only spreads the yeast! Very importantly- BE AWARE of over the counter medications

Don't twist the jewelry either, since it can tear the fistula (the healing skin) and cause scarring, make it harder to heal, and sometimes even cause a rejection of the piercing. I've had mine for 2 months and I wouldn't be comfortable taking it out.To the girl with sensitive ears: If you go to a sanitary parlor and they use a clean needle you will be fine
