I i did a duo with a Ice tank he was a two hand and i was a dual pistol and at the end of the duo when dmg window comes up he did 14k dmg more then me and i was like omg i suck with dual guns, but i also seen some with dual pistols that do alot of dmg and im not sure if it has some thing to do with the power you have. What's important is the the status effects (some weapons stun or knock down more often than others) they provide and your ability to combo with said weapon since powers are FAR more important than weapons in this game For instance, my tank has switched to using two handed weapons

Pick a role you like then a power to accommodate that role then pick a weapon and stick with it if down the road you decide to use a better weapon you can always respec your skills and try something new but it will always be easier to use your starting weapon because if you are any level below 30 you dont have much of a choice and not nearly enough marks of triumph to get decent weapons from pve vendors. Unfortunately, the Triangle x4, Hold Triangle combo isso awesome, that that's the only attack I use now.From what I constntly hear, Two-Handed and Bow are the best DPS weapons. It might be one of the two long comboes at the bottom of the skill tree.With ranged, I started with Hand Blaster, and the Triangle, Triangle, Hold Triangle combo is great for stunning the enemy, comboing, and damage and it will transfer to another nearby enemy, restarting the combo, if you still have some hits left from the combo.I recently added Rifle and didn't like the results
