There is not much chance that these two could have lasted to the age depicted, and not have sustained repeated physical scarring from the rest of humanity for being just that dumb.I keep hoping that a scary version of this King premise will one day be made, but when you find yourself cheering for the religious fanatic murderous children, instead of the main characters, you know that time is still a distant promise. The main character is a complete incompetent, who may have grown up on a steady diet of lead-based paint chips, and his wife - although real easy on the eyes - is a pathetic submissive, who is not even bright enough to understand the concept of cutting and running without alerting her rocket scientist husband first
