12-30-2012 deathbydinn Cedar Point is great if you want a park where you can just ride all day as the park is filled with coasters and rides of every shape and size. The food was wonderful and the staff were excellent, the ride ops were fun and they acted like they loved their job (I would to if I worked at Cedar Point!)

The amusement park opened in 1870 and features 16 roller coasters and 72 total rides.This year, Cedar Point will introduce a new coaster called the 'Rougarou.' This ride is a floorless coaster that replaces the Mantis, which was introduced as the tallest stand-up roller coaster in the world in 1996.You can see a video of the new roller coaster posted below. Couple that with the fact that they also added a killer lighting scheme to the ride a few years back and you end up with quite a sight at night on the Jersey shore. Timberland Twister is a great ride for all types of riders, somehow delivering enough thrills for the thrillseekers, yet at the same time being laid back enough for the more timid
Im going to MM for the first time this summer to see what all the fuss is about, but for now, this one goes to Cedar Point for their originality record breaking coasters.
