Reply Hernan says: September 20, 2014 at 6:44 pm We ate at Wolfgang Puck Express (in Downtown Disney) several times and really enjoyed that place, not only for the food but also the excellent care provided therein. Our thought process is to go ahead and invest in Tables in Wonderland as we think it will ultimately save us more money over purchasing a dining plan for each trip. It used to be quite easy for someone to book a reservation for a family of four at an Epcot restaurant at 12:00pm and make another reservation for the same family at a Magic Kingdom restaurant for 11:30pm

We like to eat a hot breakfast at least a few times during a one-week vacation, then graze on light meals during the day, and then have an upscale dining experience with wine and a split appetizer most evenings. I decided to compare Tables in Wonderland head-to-head with the Dining Plan over a two-day period, during which we bought two table-service breakfasts, two quick-service meals, various snacks and two table-service dinners

Re: Is 2013 Disney dining plan worth it? Feb 19, 2013, 10:05 AM For the most part, I budget the tips before I go, adding up what the Table Service Meals would have cost if paying out of Pocket. Re: Is 2013 Disney dining plan worth it? A Premium and Platinum Dining Plan are also available, but they include a lot of other recreational activities, spa treatments, and other goodies and those will have to wait for a different article. The Dining Plans can be added to your package up to 72 hours before your check-in date, so you have some time to consider your options, even after you make an initial reservation
