Some colors you should try are Garnier Nutrisse 76 Rich Auburn Blonde (Hot Tamale), Revlon Colorsilk 45 Bright Auburn, L'Oreal Preference RR-07 Intense Red Copper, or Manic Panic Vampire Red. The good thing about bleaching your hair to go red is that you really don't need to bleach it all the way--since bleach will turn dark hair red before it turns it white, You will only have to keep it on for a few minutes, and then use a bright, light red color from there

Paprika can be made into a paste for easy application by combining it with one of the other liquid suggestions here or alternatively just mix it with water

Red is the colour that sinks into your hair most and clings on for dear life (you can tell by my technical talk that im not a hairdresser haha!) so from what ive always been told - and can unfortunatly prove through experience - is that the only way to really get rid of red is either to bleach it out or cut it out If you keep putting tint on top of it, it wont change the red, so youll just get varients of dirty red, orangey red, faded red

Any chemical altering damages the hair; if you attempt to lighten your hair too soon after a chemical treatment, you risk further damage, including split ends, brittle hair and breakage. You can lessen the impact of the damage to your hair by using moisture-rich shampoos and conditioners, using hot oil treatments that provide vitamin E, and reducing the amount of heat styling you apply to your hair

Mine turned orange, but was only orange for a few days.) The first time around, leave any virgin hair untouched and process the dye for 20 minutes, and then paint your virgin hair and leave for another 10 minutes, to ensure a more even coverage. We all know that red is the hardest color to keep, and this is because the molecules of the red dye are much larger than other colors, making it harder for them to hold on to your hair
